How many times are you going to cry about this?

Not everyone ends up married to the first person they sleep with. It'll be OK for this show to have its main character stay the way he is in the books. It's quite a big part of the guy's character arc. What would you have him do, drag a wife and 3 kids hitching and getting into extremely violent situations? Or perhaps the show should be about a homebody named Reacher who hangs out at home, works a 9 to 5 and does chores on camera for an hour every week for two months?

Tbe more of this I read the less it seemed like this guy actually watched the show or read the books. Reacher may travel alone, but he relies heavily on making and utilizing past and present connections to get through the things he does in these stories. Nobody actually expects to see much repetition in anyone aside from Reacher being in every season. Nobody would mind it not happening, not that a spinoff would somehow prevent continued appearances, people can work more than 3 or 4 months a year, and not another soul on the planet would get the idea that Reacher was meant as a soft launch for a Neagley spinoff.
