I absolutely loved this film! I can't wait to watch it again through my eyes as a photographer, as the first time I watched it was with my partner and although I was entertained I was more in awe over how rhe reat if the audience seemed to be captivated. The music was fantastic and as a lover of traditional blues (not the comical illustration of music in other vampire films) the cultural references really took me to a different mind space that was not expected.

Needed more promotion. I literally just booked a film ticket to watch Black Bag which looks great and would have also considered Opus if it was promoted even remotes much. I will definitely by seeing it at a theatre after viewing the trailer.

All great actors, I am curious and will draw a conclusion after watching 👀 it myself.

I think that the movie was doomed with the mostly female cast as in this time we are in, the hate which reared it's head almost immediately with the barrage of bad reviews before it was even seen held many families back from watching it and forming actual viewier opinions. The dollar is all that counts and that comes from people that buy tickets. If patents don't take children to watch then that cut a lot of potential box office push. You can count the opinions of the film though vastly outnumbering the tickets sold which was something that had not been anticipated by anyone. There are much worse films out there but this had the focus of the same keyboard warriors who love to spend time hating anything not fitting their rather narrow scope of what they want to see on screen. It is what it is. When our kids grow up and make films, perhaps we can see what they want to watch and vote with our dollars or perhaps we will be like some of the basement warriors and protest for what we think was the good old days and demonise any progressive term they come up with in the name of the good old days.
