See All10 Classic TV Shows That Defined The 1990s
Hard disagree here, Gloria. If you were born in 1990, you obviously weren't watching these shows. You are young, so I will help you understand how generations work.
If you were born in 1990, a better list for you would be shows that define the 2000's or 2010s. By the time you were 10 years old, and then on into your teens, you would have enough awareness to understand the cultural moment in which you live. But as a child in 1990, you wouldn't The Fresh Prince. You were NOT the demographic. You were too young. The kids born in the 70s and 80s have a bigger connection to the shows listed and were old enough to understand the cultural moment of the 90s.
This list isn't made for you, Gloria. Your opinion on this list doesn't count because this list is made for the generation before you. Not everything is about you, Gloria. You seem like a typical Millennial. Which probably explains why you do not know how generations work.
Hope that helps!
"I Feel Like I'm The Queen Of Franchises": Marvel & Star Wars Star Reacts To ing The New Karate Kid Sequel
Zoe Saldana couldn't even shine Ming-Na's boots, dude. There's a reason Ming-Na is a Disney Legend and Zoe isn't. Let us count the ways. Ming-Na is part of the MCU (Agents of SHIELD is 100% canon and I'll die on that hill), she was Mulan, she's in Star Wars, she's in the animated Guardians of the Galaxy. She does voice work for the animated Marvel Rising series. Then, aside from Disney, Ming-Na is Chun Li in the Street Fighter film. She voiced Detective Ellin Yin in The Batman animated series. She is in the Stargate Universe. She's been in the Gremlins tv show. And now the Katate Kid franchise. And that's not even getting into her work on one-off projects such as The Joy Luck Club. Ming-Na Wen is a total bad ass and is basically the actor Zoe Saldana aspires to be. You are 100% incorrect in your comment.
After Red Hulk's MCU Arrival, I Want These 10 Iconic Unused Marvel Villains To Appear Next
Actually, the whole concept of a multiverse is precisely what allows it all to be opened up and connected regardless of timelines. Had a film like Deadpool and Wolverine not happened, or had Avengers: Endgame not happened or had a show like Loki not happened, I would totally agree with you. However, the fact is that they opened the can of worms by declaring the multiverse. And multiple timelines happening simultaneously is EXACTLY how a multiverse works. Have you watched Loki? I mean, that's literally what the show is illustrating. Also, The Runaways is 100% MCU either way, so Morgan Le Fay is still in the MCU and you can go ahead and replace her in the list with someone else.
After Red Hulk's MCU Arrival, I Want These 10 Iconic Unused Marvel Villains To Appear Next
Niall, you're in luck. Morgan Le Fay was in The Runaways tv show on Hulu. Magneto has been in several movies as has Venom. That's 30% of your list right there that you could populate with characters that haven't actually been used. And before you tell me I'm wrong, all I can tell you is that the concept of the Multiverse has literally connected ALL the Marvel bits of media and incorporated them into the MCU. So, this means that 30% of your list is incorrect. Please fix it. Hope that helps.
10 Older Sci-Fi TV Shows That Are Still Extremely Entertaining
Thank you for the list, Sam. However, I don't think there was a single show on your list older than 1989. I can tell you're an English Lit major rather than a Film and Media Studies student.
There was this show in the 80's, V, that was fantastic. The original Quantum Leap is sci fi. Red Dwarf, of course.
Then, you can go back to the 70's and mention The Six Million Dollar Man or The Bionic Woman. There was Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century. The original Battlestar Galactica. Even Mork and Mindy could debatably be labelled as sci fi. Land of the Lost is a classic.
In the 60's, there was the original Star Trek, original Lost in Space, The Outer Limits, the puppet show Thunderbirds.
I think I just named 12 shows right there older than the oldest show you mentioned. I feel like you could have dug a little deeper on your list, Sam. I hope this helps.
10 MCU Characters Who Look Nothing Like The Marvel Comics Originals
Hey Niall,
Since the Marvel Cinematic Universe is NOT the same as the 616 Marvel Comics Universe, I guess it doesn't really matter. The characters can be and look like whatever they want because of the multiverse. I mean, that's literally what the entire last 2 phases of the MCU were about, right?
Hope that helps!
