See AllForget DOOM, Xbox Game Has A Day-One Release On May 16 I Can't Wait To Play
Like others have said, this article could have been fine without the bits about DOOM. It isn't your vibe, cool. This cozy game is, cool. But this article could have just been a "here's an indie game I recommend." Without being like "this major release isn't my thing, so here's why you should ignore it and go for this unrelated indie game!"
Especially since it's such a baffling comparison. "Hey guys, I hear you're excited for the next Elder Scrolls game. I'm not a fan of ES myself, so you should totally forget about it and instead play Fashion Design Simulator because it's an indie game!"
Cancelled Tomb Raider Remaster Surfaces In Leaked Images
I mean, I'm hoping that with the 1-3 and 4-6 remaster collections being out, that it means the Legends/Anniversary/Underworld trilogy + Underworld's DLC will be next on the docket.
Since Anniversary is still very much its own game compared to 1, having changed a few things from the original title.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Community Rallies Behind Dreamlight ATM Fan Concept In Light Of Update
I mean, even as someone who has owned the game since launch, Dreamlight is a precious commodity when they introduce new realms, floating islands beyond the first require like 15K each, and building any kind of storage chest or other certain commodities require at least 250+ dreamlight.
Unless Dreamlight Valley is your only game that you've been playing feverishly, or have been holding back on unlocking areas...you're usually not going to have an excessive amount.
If anything...the most likely thing you'll have in excess is Mist from the Rift in Time expansion...since it's ridiculously easy to build up your Mist count just from constantly using the Hourglass everywhere.
I'm Looking Forward To Wicked: For Good, But Please, I'm Begging You, Don't Make Wicked 3
I mean, consider Wicked is an extended adaption of the play that has been including bits from the book in its expansion as well, Liir could still pop up in it. Likewise, if it ends where the play does with Elphaba and Fiyero running away together, Son of a Witch can still be a time jumped entry where they had him very shortly after the events of the movie.
That being said, Son of a Witch and Lion Among Men were kinda boring books, and would be difficult to make into interesting and engaging movies...especially since the main draw aka Elphaba is absent from the rest of the series.
Star Wars Confirms 6 Long-Awaited Movies In Development
"Long awaited" I mean, I enjoy Rey as a character, but unless these movies are tossing out the last trilogy, then people have been more waiting for Disney to just stop and move on to something else.
The last trilogy had potential, and personally I was even more invested when The Last Jedi came out, since it was something different by making Rey just a random nobody versus tying her into an existing family...and likewise hinting at other force sensitive kids.
Unfortunately TLJ was seen as awful particularly because it dragged at parts like the whole pointless Casino bits...and when they unswapped directors for TRoS, it was a mess since the story was completely altered again and made TLJ a completely pointless entry, spoiled the overarching baddie of it, and went the stupid predictable routes with Rey with hamfisted messages that it essentially walked back on right at the very end.
So again, unless the next trilogies are correcting or ignoring that last debacle trilogy...then it's not something a bunch of folks have been waiting for/asking for.
10 Fantasy TV Shows That Never Bounced Back From An Awful Storyline
Ehhh, Once Upon a Time floundered quite a bit before Season 4...it's just easy to pick on the Frozen arc because FrOzEn iSn'T a ClAsSiC fAiRyTaLe.
Season 2 part 1 was excellent, and the Greg/Tamara "LoL sCiEnCe>MaGiC!" Episodes were hot garbage...with the only payoff being that they both die in the excellent Peter Pan arc of Season 3.
And then once again the Wicked Witch arc was heavily divisive among fans and seen as a really underwhelming back end to that S3 first half.
Season 4 P1 was actually an excellent switch, and despite the fact that it started with a more current property...it used it to utilize the original property it was based on (IE the Snow Queen) in a completely unique way. Despite not being a fan of Frozen and finding it severely overhyped, it ended up being my 2nd favorite Season starter half (the other being the Peter Pan arc).
If you want to blame anything for the show's downfall in ideas...blame the Queens of Darkness second half of Season 4...which was incredibly underwhelming outside of the wonderful Cruella episode. Blame the incredibly hyped Season 5 teaser showing an absolutely evil and loving it Dark One Emma...followed by the incredibly underwhelming Camelot arc where we got a completely different "Dark" Swan than what was teased. Heck, Blame the incredibly dull Underworld arc...or especially the S5 finale where the big cliffhanger after dealing with Hades was having to deal with...Jeckyll and bringing back the stupid ScIeNcE iS sTrOnGeR tHaN mAgIc nonsense.
You can pick at a lot of problem spots for OUaT...but the Frozen Arc really wasn't one of em.
