See AllBix's [SPOILER] At The End Of Andor Season 2 Explained By Showrunner Tony Gilroy
@Kristi the sequel trilogy takes place about 35 years after Rogue One, so Cassian and Bix’s Child would be about 36 years old. The child could easily be utilized as a bridge between the OT and sequels. The question is, since it’s a 35 year time window, when to continue the story. But especially since Mina-Rau is in the outer rim, and the first order originally started out as an imperial fragment between the outer rim and Jakku before moving to the unknown regions, it’s a good way to connect their child to the early years of the First Order under Grand iral Sloane, as early as a child himself (eg abducted to be trained as a stormtrooper) or a teen (learning that the empire his father died to try and destroy was rebuilding while nobody takes them seriously in the unknown regions) or many other ways. The two scenarios are potential ones I came up with off the top of my head but there’s literally thousands of scenarios that could make this work and connect mostly seamlessly the OT with the Sequels without necessarily involving any of the major established characters. The most established might be Sloane like I said and she’s only popped up in a few canon books and comics. Never in animation or live action.
