Personally I give any studio credit for trying to adapt animation of any kind into live action. Theres just the limits of what is physically possible as a human and no matter how good of a cameraman you have theres just no good way of replicating an anime into live action. Anime uses a distinct art style. One that translated into real life looks muddy and drowned out but that's because we made it "real"
