Middle-earth movies, shows and games stand on the lore made by Tolkien. Amazon took that lore, wiped their ass with it and set it on fire, all in favour of diversity and feminist propaganda, creating a story that never happened in the actual lore and making changes that make no sense to events that did happen. I really don't know what they expected.

They spent so much money to have a solid foundation only to tear it down and decide to build their own from what was left.
