ENOUGH of ment of that donghua! And how WE must watch it because it's TOTALLY BETTER than My Hero Academy that apparently sucks (based on this article). If it was REALLY better we would watch anyway, no ment paid-by C - or diss on anime is necessary. Just regular unpaid word-of-mouth fame.
Elfen lied and Black Butler are the only series that actually have some issues, the rest is nitpicking fan favorites in search of something anything to claim.
Don't use changes in TV series as book cannon. In books it was obvious that Elaida had true Foretelling, it came unexpectedly and out of her control. The huge part of her book story is her inability to correctly interpret those Foretellings or more like her complete selfishness made her assume that Foretellings were about herself, while as it turned out they were about everyone else but her
Well, they probably had to move on from Siuan vs Moiraine storyline, and Siuan actress was done anyways, and they did not want to bother hiring new actress similar in looks to Sophie and be able to imitate her mannerisms. Plus that storyline (continuing Moirane vs Siuan) with Siuan being 20 years younger is another level of uncomfortable. Leane or Verin can take on tutor role for Egwene.
It's becoming a pattern. The best way for a young up-and-coming actor to win an Oscar is to take accent and singing class and to play in a halfway decent biographical movie of famous singer/actor - Rami Malek/Freddie Mercury, Austin Butler/Elvis, now Timothee Chemolet/Bob Dylan and Bob Dylan is still Alive! Enough, do something else!
Agree. It's so retro, for new players it's really hard to get into. If they could just update graphics to make it to FF7 original or maybe even FF8 graphics level, it would be enough for most players to get into.
That was the point of whole thing. It's an inside joke. You have a super strong macho man with a high pitched voice associated with woman. And yeah, that was from beginning with approval from author, so if old lady retires, I guarantee a replacement will be another lady with high pitched voice. Check out Naruto, both Naruto and his son, Boruto, are voiced by a female voice actor. This happens more often than not in Japanese shounen series.
Well, as a female fan, I can tell you that usually Flash is one of my favorite characters. I LOVED Grant Gustin's Flash, he embodied everything Flash to be like - charming, funny, fast, slightly awkward (aka DC Peter Parker). Ezra Miller's Flash was autistic , unlikeable, unattracrive man-child who weirded me out from his first appearance in Justice League. The peculiar way he run, turned me off, metal/plastic suit was horrific. Just didn't like Snyder version of Flash. And he picked Ezra who, even before his scandals, specialized in weird childish autistic characters (see Fantastic Beasts).
I can totally see Bene Gesserit excluding Altreides bloodline from their program except at very end. Based on experience with Desmond, they will realize that 1) male Kwisatz Haderach has to be part Altreides and at least half Harkonnen, if not more 2) Altreides bloodline should only be added at the end of program when they are ready for Kwisatz Haderach to be there. That's why in Dune, they wanted Jessica to breed a girl and then marry her to Feyd-Ruatha making resulting offspring 1/3 Altreides and 1/2 Harkonnen. Then that offspring will be controllable Kwisatz Haderach, based on Desmond (and Paul) having half Altreides and Harkonnen is too unpredictable.
Agree. Lois cancer returning is very realistic scenario, especially at old age. Major percentage of cancer survivors who "beat" cancer, after 5 to 30 year break have their cancer return, maybe even multiple times, and eventually do die of cancer. The difference is that they get extra 5 to 30 years of good life.
Yeah sure, let's replace central identity of Magneto - Eastern European Jew persecuted in Holocaust with other identity. After all, can't be too antisemitic (sorry I mean anti-Zionist) anymore, right?
I'll be more blunt. Most fans who dislike how Luke turns out are long term fans, they were there from beginning and through books and prequels. Seeing Luke like this: tired, depressed, disappointed in his fate, giving up, and most importantly OLD does remind them of themselves and their own lives since they first saw and loved Star Wars. Did ALL their hopes and expectations for THEIR future came true? Or did their life became so much more mundane, and sometimes choices were made that would have disappointed young you but you had to compromise and bite the bullet in order to save your career, relationship and quality of life? Luke's story WAS based on outlines given to Disney by George Lucas (who notably criticized all other things in this movie but NEVER Luke's storyline, because it was based on HIS outline). It was also foreshadowed in Empire Strikes Back by Yoda when he first met Luke. Because then while audience (and Luke) assumes it was warning against Vader and Emperor, it was actually warning for the future when choices were not so black and white but grey.
And if GOT had shown that Dany was buying into whole "the Prince that was promised"Prophecy, the reveal about Jon being Targeryen would have hit her much harder since he was not only her competitor for the Iron Throne (in the books she would have simply considered marrying him in time honored Targ tradition), but more importantly he was competitor for being the target of the Prophecy, with his death and resuscitation and all. And this would have offered a far more compelling reason for her snap.
Minato was a great reveal and just made story deeper. For me, it came during Ninja War where Naruto was made literally "golden boy" with god level powers more powerful than any human character (or reincarnated hockage). And Sasuke was not a match, even during their final battle, as Naruto was nerfed at the time. This whole situation led to ridiculousness in Boruto, where with absence of Naruto and Kurama, only Boruto (and Kawaki) can fight off enemy, the rest of humans are either cannon fodder or there to create personal weakness for Boruto. Kishimoto really should have stopped with Sage mode.
Perhaps the author ought to read the books before making up stuff. In the books Rand was FORCED to enter Rhuidian alone by people who controlled access there (Aiel elders), when Mat volunteered to him, Rand gladly accepted his companionship and insisted on him coming against wishes of Aiel elders.
