As a viewer of both shows, I compared the old series with the new concept. To be completely transparent here, I knew Hillary's marriage wasn't going to last long...the original Hillary's future husband died right in front of eyes on TV while he was proposing. And although she and Jazz never had a relationship in the original this definitely but the love Jazz has for her in Bel Air in the forefront. I see him helping her deal with her grief bringing them even closer and causing friction with the his new love interest.

Will being kidnapped was an unexpected twist. Geoffrey has always been there for the family in the past and I'm sure he will come through to help Will, especially since it involves him.

Carlton's relationship, for some reason I see that phasing out. She's always relapsing..this would be her 3rd time because she relapsed twice before, and Carlton's always teetering on relapsing. Not a good match.

Viv and the baby...I always wondered when lil Nicky was going make an appearance. Would be nice to see how the new Banks handle the news and deal with Will's disappearance.

Ashley, I'm happy to see her explore all of her options.. however they won't be able to keep it a secret for too long.
