See AllThe Lord Of The Rings Movies' Controversial Faramir Change Misses The Point Of His Character
Thank you for your fascinating comment.
I share your interest in finding the parallels between Middle Earth and the Christian worldview.
My feeling from the books is that the Numenorians and their descendants, the Dunedain, including Aragorn and Fairamir, are not subject to Original Sin, the inability to resist temptation. They may sucumb to temptation, like Ar Pharazon and Boromir but not all do, they are *able* to resist temptation. The other Men in middle earth like the Southrons and Easterlings, were corrupted by Sauron, (corresponding to the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden) and are basically Saurons servants (as humans today are enslaved by sin and the devil is the ruler of this world).
Your last paragraph seems incomplete and I don't understand it. I would very much appreciate it if you review it. Please finish the sentence "He is careful not to dis" and explain what "the only way Elves can see humans" means.
