They'll be back eventually. I don't believe zoe or dave when they say they are done. Tom Hiddleston said he was completely done after infinity war but he came back too. The only thing is James is taking a break from Marvel. They probably are putting up some sort of act to make it seem like James Gunn will never return (bc of his controversies) but he too will be back.
