Thanks to the bonus chapters here's what i gather. So before i came to know and read the bonus chapters i was 100% Elain and Azriel, but since the chapter i realise that nope they just aren't meant to be. Azriel you can tell feels so lonely and he feels its 3 brothers with 3 sisters but no its not. The Mother paired Elucien for a reason. Az needs to realise that. Elain is just not right for him. His own shadows hide from her (implicating that his shadows dont like her or think that she id too soft for him) whereas with Gwyn his shadows sings and dances with her. He also always hears soft music radiating from her, and they both kind of match with their past traumas. He rescued Gwyn and he always feels like he can tell her things he never really could with the inner circle. They also have this comedy between them, but with elain its just boring old lust, nothing special yk. She doesn't challenge him, and in my opinion she wouldn't be able to handle Az himself (his shadows) she'll probs be more scared than anything. I also have this theory that maybe she might use Az to kind of "get rid" of the bond with Lucien (like how Mor did with Cassian and Eris.). Idk but Elain just seems fishy to me at times. I mean she surprised me a lot in the last book coz before that honestly she had no personality.

Cate I agree with you. The bonus chapter shut down azriel and elain. I mean his shadows hide from her whereas with gwyn it dances with her. And omg I love that theory u came up with. The trio and the Valkyries. Its excellent. And yeah i can see Emerie and Mor tg since they both have trauma when it comes to men and they look perfect tg.
