See AllAfter Playing Oblivion Countless Times, I Wish I Loved Oblivion Remastered - But A Major Issue Is Stopping Me
Tl;Dr: I really like Oblivion, and you sound like you're TRYING to find something to complain about.
I've put well over 1000 hours into the original Oblivion. About half of which was vanilla, no mods, no DLC, no horse armor pack. Base game. I have consumed probably an equal amount of Oblivion content over the years, through streamers and YouTube creators. All of this to say, I'm pretty well versed in the lore and world of Cyrodil.
I have already put more time into the remaster than pretty much any other game this year. I don't plan on stopping any time soon. It is a delightful journey through pure nostalgia. I'm ing things about the world I forgot, and it is so much fun.
And all of that, to make the point that you're just being cynical. Bethesda and Virtuos knocked it out of the park this time. You don't need to demonize everything Bethesda does because "Todd Howard bad, hurrdurr" .
Just accept it, it's a good release. Does it have problems? Sure, but you can pick apart any game enough to find something you don't like.
