I am suspecting it's a big asylum just like shutter island, and man in yellow is a head doctor....I don't know why but I feel like every thing will end as these people as mentally unstable people getting treatment in asylum.

Or may be the village belongs to tribals, and in old time just to save their village tribals made a deal with people acquiring their land about eternal life. Which turns them in moster. The lady in kimono may be from the tribal community responsible for keeping the promise.

And as many mentioned before these monster feed on fear and mind power of people, that's why they invite more people in town to get feeded.

I feel like these people are mad and trapped in a mental asylum where each individual and connected and thinking about this story, I have a strong feelings the series end showing all people in asylum and in the backend the story is still running stating the mind set of each individual.

Tabitha might be in asylum as she lost her kid and she want to save him.

Boyd is soldier something happen in fields which he was not able to control and now he is struggling and correcting it.

Fathima might not be conceiving in real life struggling with mental health.....and so on for other characters.

This is my understanding about the series. ☺😎👍

But it's quite interesting and want to know how writer and director takes turns and twist in coming episode.
