Sorry but Return of Godzilla was an important film in the franchise. It removed all the silliness of the Showa era's back half and was a dark, scary version of the creature. It was also a great commentary on the Japanese government at the time.

Ebirah's a good film if you know it was originally supposed to be a Kong film.

Speaking of, GvK '62 was an absolute delight. Bringing together the two most popular large monsters in the world was unheard of at the time.

Space Godzilla wasn't great, but that's because it was supposed to have a whole different story and antagonist. I just wish they didn't make Junior so cute. The version in GvMG the year before and in Desotroyah after work, but this was just too different.

I'm sorry, but GxMG is one of the most well regarded G films. SO many people absolutely love this version of MechaG and the Godzilla design was fantastic.

Also, 91 Ghidorah? Are you serious? Many people consider this to be the best Heisei film after Desotroyah. Not me, but I find that's a popular opinion.

Where's Godzilla's Revenge? Or Son of Godzilla? Ebirah is a fairly well regarded film by real fans. They know it was supposed to be a Kong film and once you accept that, it's not bad.
