Love this movie. And not just because I had a huge crush on Donna Reed. But because it was based on real people. As this is something I prefer over pure fiction. My family lost a member during the Battan( I didn't spell that right. Sorry) Death March. All of my uncles and an aunt, and my mom served during WW2. And one of my uncles flew in B17's out of England. And was a member of the catapiller club two times. After escaping capture the first time he volunteered to stay and continue on B17'S. After the second time he was sent home to the U.S. and helped with training new aircrew. So yeah I like movies based on real people.
