I think perhaps the boy in white was one of the children but maybe he didn’t agree fully with the other children on trapping the parents and their families over and over and he tries to help them. The guy in yellow seems like the one who the parents made the bargain with for eternal life not realizing that it would mean as monsters only haunting the night.
