I agree with almost everything u said. I would just go further and say it's the best to EVER come out of star wars. The quality of the story telling is way beyond even the first trilogy.

It's possible I've been called pretentious but I am far from a book critic. Robin Hobbs whole Fitz and the Fool series is probably the second best thing I've read outside of Brandon Sanderson. It is a very different style of writing but I absolute loved it. I've read almost everything on this list and I think Robin Hobb deserves her spot. I would of ranked her higher.

You actually don't need to read sixth of the dusk. Sando has said it will be included in Isles of the emberdark. It will be broken up through the book in the form of flashbacks.

This is the position of every single Gambit fan I've ever talked to. I've come to the conclusion that there is probably nobody that could do him justice. It's hard to beat the animated version.... But of all the actors out there Channing Tatum couldn't be further from the mark.

Maybe there is some unknown actor out there with a good authentic Cajun accent that being Remy to life in a way that doesn't ruin him..
