I could literally feel Star Wars die in the theater when the credits rolled. I never truly liked the franchise again after seeing this. It went from gold to copper with one movie.

But it is a tick box exercise. That's why Finn just showed up and got pushed to the side. Same with Kelly Trang. It's not representation, it's shallow virtue showing. There is no substance, all symbolism.
