I think the issue is charging for a performance upgrade. The ability to play BOTW in 4K 144 FPS has existed for years, not like Nintendo is bringing much more to the table in this category. Depending on the lore added through the voice log thingy, i may be able to justify the $10 upgrade. On other games where the only thing added is a performance boost, that's where I worry. Basically, better resolution and performance is locked, not behind hardware limitations, but behind a paywall. That, is some scummy business.
