See All10 Movies From The 1990s That Are Considered Masterpieces
I see a few good movies on the list, so overall it’s a decent list. “The Lion King” has no place on this list, and neither does “Forest Gump”. Two replacements would be Alex Proyas’ “The Crow” and, though this may be an unpopular opinion, Wes Craven’s “Scream”, which combines comedy with horror. Overall, pretty good list.
For me, one of the best movies is Donnie Darko. I know it wasn’t made in the 90s, but it is still a masterpiece. It plays with your head, causing you to doubt everything you’ve ever learned.
The 2004 “Director’s Cut” takes a slight amount of confusion out of the film, but still leaves you in disbelief.
Apologies for my soapbox. Once I start, it’s impossible to stop.
