Hangman is super useful, but the issues with the game crashing around that area and followers disappearing when sent to the settlement can make it a dangerous place to set up on some consoles.

That's a really interesting point! And it would make some sense for the developers to want the player to feel justified in their actions as the story continues. However, it is worth noting that the Emperor's treatment of Stelmane and Ansur was the same either way, as the evidence for the Emperor's abuse of both of them is present regardless. But it could definitely be said that the Emperor's morals are dependent on the player's choices, especially in regard to the game's ending.

You can deal with them peacefully upon your first meeting, but they will go to Ethel's hut and end up dead anyway unfortunately. They may have removed any way to save their lives with the full release.

The mirror of loss can only raise a stat up to 24, so it doesn't apply in most of the individual cases. When considering how high each stat can be at once, we applied the the two mirror points to Wisdom, as well as the one additional point to Charisma!
