I don't think it's going to be her boyfriend because in the preview for tonight's show, it shows Dr. Goodwin sitting in her office talking to someone who is carrying a knife and shown only from mid-abdomen down, and it appears to be a female. It's been driving me crazy trying to figure out who it could be. I'm thinking it's the new woman she hired to co-run the ER with Dean, whose name I can't at the moment.
