I thought it was pretty good. I firmly believe you can put anybody in the bat suit and be fine. The challenge lies in playing Bruce Wayne. To the "brooding emo" comment. , Reeves said this was Batman in his first year--still figuring things out. None of the other movies depicted Batman as a detective. This was a solid crime story with out Batman. My guess is we will see less brooding and more suave as this particular iteration progresses.

I have a bunch of favorites from Scott. I would like a list of all of Scott's movies nominated for an Oscar and compare his movie with the director who won the Oscar before saying he deserved that Oscar. Better yet, I would love for Denzel to do the same. I don't think Denzel meant to disrespect those directors who won Oscar's but in effect, that's exactly what he's doing.

I think you are overestimating the appeal of GOT. If House of Dragon is any indicator, I would not bank on it having the success of GOT. Creating an episodic series vs a feature film is a different beast. That being said, it does have the elements necessary to be an intriguing movie.

This movie felt like "Rambo:First Blood". I read that the protagonist attended a prestigious acting school in london. He was the worst part of the movie. I think i know what he was trying to portray but his acting was so subpar that it became a major distraction.

Well put. I sitting at my desk at work review a review about Aliens. It read "The last 45 minutes of Aliens of nonstop action." After reading that, i was in and the movie did not disappoint. Top notch script, awesome characters, visually stunning, "Oh, you want some of this too?", great dialogue throughout. To this day, "The Thing" is the only sci fi that is as riveting as Aliens. Come on yall--quit players.
