This is not the site you want to browse if you’re not up to date on a specific series/film that they cover. If you’re viewing the site through a browser (as opposed to viewing through Apple News) try just looking at the thumbnails as they list the name of the show the article is about in the lower left corner of the photo. Then if it’s a series/film you’re not up to date on you can scroll right past. 😎

I understand your frustration, but this is definitely not the site you want to be on if you’re not caught up with shows/films that they cover. Most of us have found this out the hard way, in a similar fashion. 🙂
