I understand where you're coming from, but your examples show time and time again the argument of "white vs black" and how it's different when it comes to, at least your examples, and how you and many others like you completely miss the point.
The color/nationality was important to the stories of Black Panther or Miles Morales. And the complete ignorance of the other person that commented on your post bringing up MLK, who was a REAL PERSON. Stories like Snow White, I understand. Her skin was integral to the story, hence her name. But getting mad at The Little Mermaid, Annie or HTTYD having racially diverse characters when their color is not only NOT important to the story, but a work of fiction, is crazy. Add in the fact that there very well could have been vikings of color and it continues to fall through. Don't get me wrong, I hate when the LA characters don't look like the animated ones, I don't want to keep asking "who's that" and it makes it more fun and true to the story. But then again, over 99% of the media we consume has fair skinned individuals as most of the characters
