This would be a great "What if..." type of story. Without Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon may not have got me into the fight with Maul. Dooku wouldn't have become the apprentice of Sidious because was Maul was still alive. The whole scope of the Clone Wars would have played out played out differently.

My issue with the sequel is it didn't really feel like a sequel. There didn't seem to be anything that really connected it to the first movie. I didn't see anything that was a continuation of the story. Gilbert says he saw the sisters that night but his story didn't have anything to do with the original. The sequel seems more like a stand alone story. You can watch this without really having to have seen the first. To make this a true sequel, they should have the story of revenge connect to Max, Dani and Allison instead of the mayor.

Recently finished rewatching Clone Wars, Rebels and the first season Ahsoka. It was great to see how her character developed from naive Jedi Padawan to wise Master of the Force. Excited to see what happens in season 2. Hopefully leading into an adaptation of Heir to the Empire.
