I really love GG but it's true that there are many inconsistencies in the show. A lot of the comments made by Rory and Lorelei weren't "pc" but it was a show! Anyone who expects characters on a show to be perfect shouldn't watch TV.

I loved Jess and Rory more than I ever liked her and Dean but I don't really think they worked together when they were younger. If they had gotten back together when Rory was in college, they would have made more sense
