I disagree with the conclusion of this article :

"Thus, it is completely okay that audiences like The Electric State and critics don't, as different people are allowed to get different things out of their viewing experience."

Of course different people should like different things, but the role of critics is not to advise other critics. They judge films for the masses to know what to expect of a movie.

If critics, as a group, have largely different tastes than (even opposite to) the rest of the world, who are their advices aimed to ?
