I would love a Gambit series exploring his time in the guild and his relationship with Belladonna. The last episode could introduce Rogue. Then they could move on to the movies.
Or it could be side by side story. While Gambit is with Belladonna, Rogue is with Mystique and gets her Carol Danvers powers. Then Gambit and Rogue meet at the end of the series, to then be featured in the xmen movie.
