While the prospect of Tim and Lucy getting together was the reason I got in on the series in the first place, I enjoyed his relationship with Rachel so much that ending up with Lucy just felt forced.

I personally feel Rachel is a better fit for him because considering what he went through with Isabel, as long as Lucy wants to be a U.C. he'll never truly be at peace whereas his time with Rachel was just so wholesome.

Nowadays, I roll my eyes at any alluding to Tim and Lucy getting together.

It's almost like the writers are so fixated on the idea of the two of them rather than it's effect on the two of them as individuals.
