I disagree with you, I felt that the ending set the show up very well to move forward and build. The fact that the Eddie flashbacks completed set the show up to greatly reduce those going forward. Add to that the potential merger of the firms and the conflicting love interests and I think the show could’ve evolved well in season 2. Sadly we will never know.
