My theory is that they never get rescued and the present timeline is just their idea of how their lives would be after the wilderness. There death as a adults is when they die in the wilderness.

Trying to navigate their way back to society will will be difficult; Nat and Travis will probably lean on each other to get through that difficult period. Natalie also had trauma before being stranded in the wilderness and Travis lost his whole family in the crash and will have no one to come home to. That's how I see the Nat and Travis story playing out.

Im not crazy about the Bailey Noland story. I liked him better as a lone wolf. I do enjoy the offer girl power that have going on. I think they could have a lady cop show with them.

I like the romantic tease, because it keeps me interested. When they couple up too soon I lose interest. My favorite Tim an Lucy episode was when they went undercover as Dim and Juicy. I would love too see more that.

Van was not suppose to make it home, but the writers decided to keep her. It was was due to her performance in season one. it is fiction and full of plot holes.

How did they mange to escape the fire with weapons, amo, and rope? How is Shauna not out ink yet? Jackie froze to death in late fall, yet they survive all winter with no shelter. I love this show in spite of plot holes. It has me engaging in on line discussions over it.

We are forgetting that Natelie was traumatized long before the wilderness. Her father was an abusive drunk, her mother was an alcoholic too. Her father accidentally shot his face off after she tried to shoot him. Her substance abuse started before the wilderness.

They all have PTSD. Shauna has the loss of a child to deal with too. Adult Shauna also didn't follow her career path that she wanted and now she also having a midlife crisis on top of all of everything else. She has a conflict between her happy family and what she wanted for her life.

Misty is still the missfit even after her heroic efforts. The wilderness time did not change that.

I didn't like Jeff in season 1, but he came through for Shauna and stuck with her after the affair.

The seen with Jeff playing bingo and telling jokes to the old people won me over.

I also like Walter and I hope he stays with Misty. They're meant for each other.

We know that there is a jump in the time line right? What if pit girl happened during that time jump. I'm sure that the teens ate a few other people during that time. After all they couldn't get through the winter on just Javi's small body.
