See All10 Buffy The Vampire Slayer Episodes That Haven't Aged Well
This article proves you've missed the point of Buffy altogether. The "monster of the week" almost always represents a common real-life anxiety/fear/potential danger experienced as people come of age. Sexual predators and assault may be uncomfortable, but they're realities. The same is true for obsessive crushes, pressure to drink, "alpha male" packs, etc. I won't defend Inca Mummy Girl or Beauty and the Beasts, but most of these episodes portray issues still faced by youth coming of age today.
