See AllFirst Look At Robert Downey Jr On Avengers: Doomsday Set Revealed In New Photo
Well the Thunderbolts*/ New Avengers(z)? Just gave me more faith in Marvel. Even though this phase has been middling at points we still got No Way Home, Deadpool and Wolverine and Thunderbolts. In my opinion those are some of marvels best films.
I for one think RDJ as Doom is a stroke of genius and I am thrilled to have him back in this capacity. The ironman variant theory seems to fall in line with the multiverse themes and if they go with that I'm all for it.
The multiverse saga has been messy for sure but those few shining stars have helped pump me up for Doomsday. I just hope it delivers because I still have a healthy degree of skepticism.
And is this photo a silent protest to them trying to railroad Renner with his salary for Hawkeye S2? I hope so. Dude is a real life superhero not just one on camera.
John Wick 5 Can Give Keanu Reeves’ Character A Much Better Ending Than Chapter 4 (Without Killing Him This Time)
Interesting take.
I still think the most full circle ending would be for him to become the head of the high table. The only way to put an end to the corruption that plagues every level of the organization and the only way to ensure Winston, the Bowery king, and his friends are protected from said corruption and that the world is the well oiled machine it's intended to be.
Furthermore, it's him never escaping the life which is stressed over and over throughout the franchise.
He would have his peace as much as possible and would be watching over the ones he cares for.
Plus, Stahelski said he's not going to just ride off into the sunset (though I'd be fine with it). There's no way he'll ever be completely free of it since there's an assassin on every park bench and in every sushi bar. So it's his best chance at some form of getting out of the game...by running it. And running it justly.
John Wick 5's Announcement Confirms Chapter 4's Ending Was A Lie
As a surprise to nobody. His injury was the same as the one he gave the doctor and very similar to the stab wound inflicted by Viggo in JW1.
No body. No death scene.
The dog wasn't looking at a squirrel.
His punishment won't be death, it will be to continue on and likely never escape the life. I always thought the best ending wound be him finishing off the high table and begrudgingly becoming the head of it.
His whole fight was to live to his wife. Not to her.
And if he does die it's gonna take a lot more to take him down than that shot. From a dear friend. Who had plenty of time to devise a plan during that long ass walk up the stairs. If they planned to get him close to the marquis then certainly the daredevil level blind assassin would have been capable of landing his shot in a non fatal spot.
It's driven me nuts reading critics and some fans be so certain that he died when there were plenty of not so subtle hints that he had not expired.
After Daredevil: Born Again Episode 3, I Fear The Marvel Show's Biggest Criticism Will Last Until At Least Episode 5
I definitely am frustrated that there's no Daredevil but I also understand why there isn't. I think this article covers those bases well. It's just so hard after waiting this long to have to wait longer. But the payoff will be worth it. We waited years for this show to happen and we are fortunate that it got a creative overhaul. I have faith in the showrunners and that Cox and D'Onofrio are more on board with this version of the show than the original sequel series.
"You're Done. Do Not Anger The Gods": Mission: Impossible 8 Has A Stunt So Dangerous That The Director Had To Shut Down Tom Cruise's Obsessive Reshoots
I think the dude has as much juice in him as he says he does and im here for it. And i bet Keanu will do another JW.
