The Naked Spur
Without a Doubt this is definitely James Stewart's Best Performance in a Film. If you have not seen this Film then you will never fully appreciate the enormous scope of his acting talent. It's Brilliant study of Hate,Anger, revenge, remorse, forgiveness and finally Acceptance. It's not Just a Western. It's much, much more than that. With fine from Robert Ryan, who is just about as good as Stewart ad Janet Leigh give a very mature Performance. One Really Great Film.

See AllKevin Costner Speaks Out After His 2024 Western Becomes A Global Netflix Hit: “It’s Standing Amongst The Biggest Movies Of The Year And It Was Streamed More Than Them”
Horizon Part 1 is an excellent Start to what Appears to me to be a Fantastic Saga of the old West. Saw it on the Big Screen last Year and Did not Listen to the Negative Comments Coming From Platforms Such as Yours and others. Critics were already jumping on it before it Opened. Thank God Kevin Costner had been vindicated. A fine Director and Actor.
Why The Godfather's Marlon Brando Thought Paramount Would Refuse To Cast Him As Don Corleone
Funny how all the flops you mentioned, I had all ready seen except one. 'The Appaloosa' was called 'Southwest To Sinora' in Europe which I thought was excellent. But the Critics hated it. Its a Western and quite good too. John Saxon is also fine in it.' Candy' I have never seen. He was just Perfect as 'The Godfather ' No need to go on about that,as everything has already been said. Just watched 'Mutiny On The Bounty' again andI thought Brando was just fine and the film excellent. Trevor Howard did an amazing job as Bligh. And good from a young Richard Harris. Brando was a brilliant actor who just got fed up with Acting. His best films are in the 50s and 60s and early 70s. After that he may have given some good performances but mostly he just turned up and took the paycheck. 'The Chase was a good thriller made in the middle 60s and worth watching. Jane Fonda and Robert Redford also appear and watch a young James Fox a good British actor doing a reasonable southern accent. I think. Brando is excellent in it. Worth watching too
Wolf Man Box Office Has Sharp Week 2 Drop That Rivals Blumhouse's Biggest 2024 Flop
Went to see it last week and was underwhelmed. I found it week and predictable even the Jack Nicholson Wolf
Movie far better not to mention the Original Wolfman with Lon Chaney Jr which is a Classic. Reminded me of a poor copy of 'Cojo' but not as good . 'Cojo' was a Stephen King book made into a1983 movie which incidentally has a59 rotten tomatoes 🍅 score. Not that you should pay particularly too much attention to such things. I prefer to see the film myself in the Cinema if I can. It's not a bad movie but equally it not a particularly good one either. Just my Opinion.
Netflix's Next Star-Studded Murder Mystery Is The Total Opposite Of Knives Out In One Crucial Way
Sorry but that was a real rant which was long on rant and very light on information. Knives Out was an excellent thriller but it's sequel was inferior in every way. Looking forward to seeing The Thursday Murder Club. Hope it's more knives Out and less Glass Onions 🌰
A John Ford Western Lost For More Than 100 Years Found In Its Entirety: “There Are Films That Decide To Live”
I am really delighted to hear this film has been found. It surly is a miracle. Can't wait to see 'The Scarlet Drop' in the Cinema, were it deserves to be seen. Just finished reading a fine biography on John Ford were his involvement with Harry Carey is well documented. So it's really great to hear about the find.
