See AllI'm So Baffled By The Way Edward Uses His Immortality In Twilight
You know the person who wrote this article makes a very good point. I think being in high school took away from the mystery that could have been Edward Cullen. At the very least, they could have been "homeschooled ".That would have added to the mystery and stuff and made them seem more weird and strange.I get that the point of being in high school was so they didn't seem to weird. But I think Stephanie Meyer should have embraced that weirdness and made the Cullens seem like they couldn't care less what a bunch of pathetic humans thought lol.
She also could have made Edward seem more gruff and mean in the beginning and have him push Bella away more, adding to the mystery and allure.Cause, let's face it,When is the girl never not drawn to the reclusive bad boy?
Ultimately, I wish the Cullens or Edward at least, had been more comfortable in their superiority as immortal vampires. And I wish Edward had been portrayed as the bad boy villian that everyone falls for later on🤭
Just think how much more amazing the movies could have been.
