It did poorly at the box office because covid ruined movie-going and then made it too easy for people's fears to bring out their sloth-like characteristics to take over...get homefrom work and just watch movies after they come to streaming. The question is, did your family actually all go see it in the theaters or watched it on streaming also. I get it, it can be expensive to go out to the movies, but it can be done very frugally by ing a popular chain's monthly movie plan and good old-fashioned sneaking in your snacks. 🙂
