The (brainless) move to 'reality' back then, ruined TV forever. Firefly was my guilty pleasure, long ago and far away.

The 'gods of cancelations' don't seem to care what we want or enjoy when it comes to some of the best Sci-Fi series.

'Life on Mars' was one of the best and shortest series with Jason Mara. He was also in Tera Nova, both good series with potential. While some one somewhere will try to bring them back, albeit with lesser actors, contemporary stories and lower moral integrity, they will never match the originals. The 'cancellers' lost some great shows and great loyal audiences.
