Not a nerf. The writer of the comic was good. The writer of this article doesn't understand physics. Being able to lift 10 tons doesn't mean you can toss 10 tons around. If you can bench press 200lbs then throwing 100lbs would be a major strain for you. That's what Spidey did.

No the author of this article doesn't know physics. A lot of people can bench press between 150 and 250lbs with professional going up to 500lb or more. None of those people can fight with a 150lb weapon. Spidy has consistently been able to bench around 10-15 tons. He can't casually toss around that much weight

Spidy has been amplified past him main limits several times but always went back to his bad strength which is around 10 -15 tons. He's strength was 10tons when he was young and as an adult maybe a little more. If he trained he could probably push to 20 tons. But lifts 10 tons is different than using 10 tons as a weapon
