Genuine wtf moment because .hack was not at all an isekai and was a manga for almost 4 and a half years before it got an animated adaptation of .hack//sign specifically. Yet there is a whole franchise in the .hack "universe" aside from just .hack//sign. There were games of most of the franchise on the ps2. Wild day that "gaming/news media outlets" just do not research the topics they talk about anymore in any capacity.
