I would say the weakest is the last battle. It's a hodge-podge of events and characters, I've always struggled to follow it, as it seems to not have a definitive flow. The Horse and His Boy was always been my favourite, I loved the departure from Narnia and exploration of different places.

I agree. The "issue" that everyone seems the have is that they think the Pevensies are the main characters. While they're very pivotal to the 2nd and 4th books they're not supposed to be the focus. Narnia and Aslan are.

Isn't it interesting how many people liked the first Narnia movie quite a lot. And now that it's getting a remake, suddenly all these "problems" pop up? There was nothing wrong with the tone, it held up very well, multiple characters talked about hope. In the scenes with Mr. And Mrs. Beaver, and Father Christmas for example, they literally say the word hope.
Where's the same critique for the new Percy Jackson or ATLA show? They deliberately made a "darker" "mature" adaptation and sucked all the humour out. And they're weirdly praised for it by these articles.
