⛔Sorry Aaron Taylor-Johnson  does not portray a Bond in anyway,

despite his athletic prowess in action stunts shown. Bond needs a certain persona, well built figure, a certain charisma with charm grittiness + muscle all rolled into one. Ideally aged 30s for continuity at least 3 repeats + not typecast.  This formulae is part of Bond DNA + can't be discarded. 

Idris Elba , (10 yrs younger )would have fitted nicely but age has caught up with him.

Eon Productions need to absolutely nail this. A high bar to jump has been set by the outgoing actor & to duplicate or equal will be a tough ask. SupershopperNz 🇦🇺/ROD

⛔Gladiator ll for me failed to deliver.

As already commented on, the the plot remained unclear the narrative + synergy seemingly weak with a disconnect between the screenplay + spoken word.

Suspense lacked & although Paul Mescal tried hard the grittiness of Russel Crowe wasn't showing thus an unconvincing dynamic in the lead actor, disappointed. Set creation & inspiration abounded with ships + stadium animals all great. Missing was the sense of achievement & accomplishment in all spheres that Gladiator I achieved, setting such a high standard..the sequel to me was notably an  underperformer.  Nevertheless, by box office numbers the Public seem to given it the thumbs up SupershopperNz/ROD 🇦🇺

⛔The authentic version would only confuse those 90% of us that not know it so the current 👎👍is used with chilling effect. Makes sense even if not factually correct.SupershopperNz🇦🇺

⛔Jason Statham we agree would have been a perfect Bond but time has not been kind to him. Or opportunity. At 57 he's past his use by date for more than one film. Thus the reoccurring of him in several films very unlikely. Had he been more fortunate prior to Daniel Craig the thumbs up would be hard to ignore. Eon needs to move backside on & keep the fans happy by announcing some meaningful news on who where + when . They've had time. Now let's see whatcha got. SupershopperNz/ROD🇦🇺
