See AllWhy Does The MCU's Silver Surfer CGI Look So Weird
Silver surfer looked terrifying and haunting?
the new CGI was modern and better polished while the old didn't age well?
i get it's your opinion but most comments I've been hearing & reading totally disagree with you that she looks weird & bad but I must say it would be interesting to watch a movie through your lense Screen rant...

Christopher Nolan Making A "Sequel" To This $497M Historical Epic Is Actually Way Better Than A Real Sequel Happening
I love the description of Troy as "mostly a fun action flick" which I feel it was a lil more than just plain fun action... 3hr movie...
Troy was a mix of mostly the illiad yes but also part of other poems to tell the events around the sacking of Troy.
But yeah I've always looked at Troy movie as a potential what-if "grounded or realistic what-might've really happened " retelling of the story that inspired people & Homer to reinterpret the events as acts of the gods etc.
kinda like the movie the 13th warrior or Book Eater's of the Dead, was a Michael Crichton fictional what-if story, that was a series of events / story grounded in reality that could've lead to & inspired the story of Beowulf.
but yeah Troy had almost 0 actual gods shown & stuff other than priests & people mentioning them. but there's not really any indication anywhere that the Odyssey is going to be written & told in the same style as 13th warrior or Troy... a story of grounded or realistic events without supernatural god elements that could inspire or reinterpret into the illiad with the religious Hellenistic pantheon overtones.
also, just curious, Did Nolan say he was going for that? are there quotes from producers or writers or from Nolan that they're thinking of Troy specifically as the backdrop for this movie?

Shira Haas' Height And Why It Works For Her Black Widow Character In Captain America: Brave New World
yeah for me some of the throwing& tossing around with strength& power she doesn't have& saying she ex Black Widow to explain it was cheap.
being a black widow doesn't give u enhanced strength. but I do believe her character was supposed to be an enhanced mutant type & the choreography was leftover from the first story they went with that she was an Israeli Super Hero named Sabra from Marvel...
which if they went with that, imo at least helps make sense why someone who looked 4' 10" in the movie had the ability to toss around & clear a room of armed male military personnel is better than ... "she's a WIDOW"
I also suspect they ironically changed her character & story cuz of optics & politics with Palestine /Israel & Gaza war. I think they changed to this WIDOW story cuz that's less controversial than introducing SABRA who straight up is Israeli with star of David on her uniform, into the MCU right now & half the people one side verse the other. the WIDOW angle was definitely the more neutral politically but story wise the dumbest fix.
