Even the way Toni Graphia wrote the script, leaves the clarity moment out for Claire , that was in the books. She realized WHY as well as Jamie discussed it with her. That moment matters. They glossed over the real reason why. They focused only on making it seem like it should be ok with Jamie to accept they were hurting and it doesn’t matter that John was doing it to YOU Jamie.
