Andor Showrunner Shares His Controversial Take On A Rogue One Romance: "It’s Not Canon"
Tony Gilroy looks like an angry kid. It would be funny if it weren't embarrassing.
Rogue One exists, and that seems to be its problem. Give me a scene in Andor more intimate than the near-dark elevator scene in Rogue One.
Andor Showrunner Tells Rogue One Fans To "Reorient Their Thinking" Amidst This Major Fandom Discourse (Is He Right?)
The question is, what's wrong with Tony Gilroy? Is he okay? His "orders" smack of authoritarianism.
Rogue One premiered almost nine years ago, the story is there, and he can't erase it. I'm starting to suspect that's his problem.
If You Loved Andor, You Don't Want To Miss These 7 Rogue One Tie-Ins & Spinoffs
It's funny because Andor destroys almost all of the canon of the comics that were made after Rogue One was released and that were very good.
Lucy & Tim's Much-Awaited Relationship Talk Is Cheapened By 1 Aspect Of The Rookie Season 7, Episode 15
I totally agree.
Since the sixth season they haven't stopped damaging not only this relationship but also the characters.
I’m tired of The Rookie teasing Chenford’s relationship without any follow through.
And in my opinion, it's already too late to give her that emotional push after 17 chapters since the breakup, not to mention that Lucy hasn't been able to open her mouth to give her opinion. The only answer I have is that they did it this way for commercial gain, regardless of their characters.
Am I the only one who’s struggling with the way Lucy’s treating Tim on The Rookie?
100% agree. The biggest problem, which has been dragging on since the previous season, is that Lucy hasn't spoken up. The show-runner hasn't let her character speak, ask questions, or vent, and in the process, they're destroying the strong narrative Lucy always had.
The Rookie Season 7, Episode 12 Review: Tim & Lucy's Temporary Reunion Annoys Me, But The Hour's Filler Content Is Still Entertaining
This season could be described as clear instructions on how to destroy a great character, in this case Lucy.
The Rookie Season 7, Episode 10 Created A New Villain, & I'm Convinced That We Have To Be Worried About Lucy
Since the sixth season, they've done whatever they wanted with Lucy, without consequences; they've turned her into the floor rag they use to clean the film set.
Melissa O'Neil Breaks Down Lucy's Feelings After Massive Chenford Development In The Rookie Season 7, Episode 6
If you see a strong light in the sky it is Lucy's dignity that is gone. They have used Lucy as a floor rag for the benefit of other characters
The Rookie Season 7's Chen & Bradford Update Is Quite Disappointing (But Necessary)
The unreal thing was that the Showrunner left Lucy silent throughout season 6, just for the convenience of the unnecessary and poorly executed drama.-
Tim & Lucy's Relationship In The Rookie Season 7 Gets Enticing Tease: "A Lot Of Trust... Needs To Be Re-Earned"
The breakup was totally unnecessary, but it was also handled badly by the Showrunner. The only thing I hope is that they don't continue to disrespect Lucy's character and let her speak, since they kept her mouth shut for almost the entire sixth season.-
Why Lucy Chen Shouldn't Go Back To Her Chenford Relationship In The Rookie Season 7
Clearly the breakup is written - badly written for me - so as not to bring them back together.
But I hope they let Lucy vent and above all speak and express herself, because they denied her that throughout season six.
I hope they don't continue disrespecting the character.-
The Rookie Season 7 Will Highlight Just How Unnecessarily Bad The Season 6 Finale Was
I still don't understand what the Showrunner wanted to do in season six.
