While I like the concept of Peter Parkers daughter co-staring in a main line movie, and would be open to her getting a spin off. I seriously doubt Marvel could properly execute such a movie. They are so focused on simply checking boxes that they are discarding their popular characters and story lines with zero build up.

Had this been spider man's son instead of spider man's daughter, I have little doubt that we would have gotten some time to know the character before that character even had equal billing in a mainline entry. However, when there is a box to check, Disney tries to force it as fast as possible. 10 years from now, the money will run out, and Disney will blame men not wanting women in their media instead of taking responsibility for simply making turd sandwiches.

Uh huh, I don't think these people get what pisses people off. No one cares about a gag where a male alien dressed a woman. People care about cringe box checking and large changes to characters and stories.

Obviously, they don't want to spend a lot of money on CGI and that is why they made this change.

I might pay for a month of Disney plus and watch this at the end of the year, but I'm not giving Disney significant amounts of money until they retcon all of phase 4 and 5. Skip everything else, just end the current MCU and bring back the original Avengers. Any actor that doesn't want to reprise there role can be recast.

Oh, and bring back T'Challa.

Well, most people would have been perfectly fine with Norrin Radd and an honest adaptation of the FF. It doesn't matter if 50 percent of MCU fans will still go see this, they are alienating half of their fan base when they could have made a product that appealed to their entire fan base.
