See AllWhy The Electric State Is Dividing Critics & Audiences So Much On Rotten Tomatoes (There's A 59% Difference Between The Scores)
This movie certainly isn't targeted at my age demographic, but neither were the Ghostbusters sequels or other films geared towards a pre-teen/early teen/family friendly audience. Not every film needs to be a bloodbath, swear-a-thon, world ending peril marathon of action sequences. They also don't need to be jigsaw puzzles that leave you wondering what you just watched. It had character, emotion, world building and a very applicable message in the end. It was a very entertaining movie that unfortunately has been dragged down in this new age of tearing apart anything that has a strong female lead and disguising the real reason people don't like something with nonsense and movie critic lingo that to anyone wanting to just watch a movie are meaningless. When you criticize a budget, you're in the wrong profession. Ignore critic scores and stick with the people who's opinion actually matter... the ones who paid to watch it.
