See AllABC's New Announcement Is Utterly Disappointing For The Rookie Season 8 & Will Trent Season 4
Used to be a show started in September, took a couple weeks off at Christmas/New Year's, then had the season finale in May. Then they either had reruns during the summer, or maybe a show they were trying out to see if it would work for the regular lineup.
Now, they've messed everything all up. A show may start in August, September, October, or November and go until December, take 2-3 months off for "winter break" when they show reruns and Christmas shows, then return in March for a couple weeks, take time off at Easter, to have their finale in the beginning of May. Then they have shows that are only on during the summer months, June and July, with time off for the holidays in the summer. Then they start over again.
Seasons used to be at the VERY LEAST 23 episodes long, some as long as 28 or 30. Now, most are 12 episodes, some are only 10 episodes. Occasionally you'll find a show that still appreciates its viewers and gives them 22 episodes, but they are few and far between. One show I watched was only 8 episodes. Disgusting.
Then there are things that pop up out of their control, like the writer's strike. I get it. They need to get what they're worth, but geezum crow... Let's look at a show like Outlander trying to off BS like "oh we are giving you an extra long season in season 7!" But then when season 7 comes around what happens? We get 8 episodes in 2023, ending in August, and then we get nothing until November 2024 (1 1/4 years later!), when "the other half of season 7" comes out. I cry BS (along with all the other Outlander fans). All y'all in Hollywood just keep doing your fans dirty.
Crud like that, and cancelling our favorite shows when they're doing well is what loses fans. It's what makes us not trust Hollywood. I don't know one person who trusts Hollywood or anything they say. We take everything they say with a grain of salt, bc we know they're just going to break our hearts, and they're going to do it intentionally. I'm not talking storylines.
Why Tim & Lucy Didn't Get Back Together In The Rookie Season 7 Finale Addressed By Showrunner
I absolutely adore Chenford and find myself screaming at the TV whenever Tim does something stupid that seems to be counter Chenford-ish... To my husband's delight. I did, however, love the way they ended season 7 with Tim cooking Lucy breakfast. Having worked midnights in law enforcement before, though, I know she never would have fallen asleep that fast. Her adrenaline would have kept her up at least a couple hours, but that wouldn't have worked for the scene, and I did like how the scene unfolded... Kind of predictable, but a cute way to extend Tim's confession. Let's see how long it is until he works up the nerve to approach the subject again. Long live Chenford!
Karate Kid Officially Introduces Its Johnny Lawrence Replacement Ahead Of The New Movie
Ah, but it's got Jacki Chan in it. Personally, I think 99% of what he's in is 🟨 Gold. There is, of course, always the chance of that 1%...

So, this is the new movie that comes out in about 8 weeks? Is that the movie that you're just now telling us is officially introducing their Johnny Lawrence replacement? 😂 Whew! 💙❤ We're so lucky to have Guy Howie on our side.
I'm curious to find out why the heck Larusso is in NY instead of Cali. 🤔

Resident Alien Still Hasn't Acknowledged Its Biggest Casting Issue (But Season 4 Can Fix It)
Alan Tudyk is an outstanding actor. I only came to the show because of him, but I stayed because of all the other great actors that him in the show, some of whom I've seen on other shows and have appreciated before they ed this one. This is an amazing cast and amazing writers... Thankfully the People have seen it and it, so hopefully they won't cancel it, like they always seem to do with all the other great shows. ❤
