After two seasons, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals have made Emmy nominated drama series, into a cultural phenomenon. Featuring a cast predominantly made up of queer and trans actors, the show explores the ballroom culture in New York City during the 80s and early 90s.

The second season of Pose continued to tell necessary and impactful LGBTQ stories that ranged from the HIV/AIDS epidemic to violence against trans women. A show that doesn't shy away from heart-breaking moments, Pose's season 2 finale sent fans on an emotional roller coaster full of tears, surprises, and ecstatic highs, while also leaving some lingering questions for the third season to solve.

Will There Be Another Time Jump?

The first season of Pose took place in the late 80s, while the second season primarily took place in the year 1990. The season 2 finale jumped one year later to 1991. With this current trend, it's safe to assume that season 3 will include another jump in time, but exactly how much time will have ed between seasons?

The time jump at the beginning of season 2 allowed the show to tell a more contained storyline, with character arcs wrapping up in a satisfying manner by the end of the season. Also, it'll be interesting to see how the characters have changed over the course of the time jump and where they are in their lives.

Will Lulu Get Her Own Storyline?

Lulu Ferocity, a founding member of the House of Ferocity, is one of the more underwritten Candy was murdered in season 2, Lulu was forced to find her individuality and forge her own path, but the show has yet to give her a compelling arc to explore those themes.

Season 3 could be the perfect opportunity to focus more on Lulu and develop a compelling storyline around her. Even an episode focusing on her would be a welcome addition. With the show already recognizing Blanca and Elektra, there's hope Lulu will walk away as season 3's Mother of the Year.

Can Blanca Beat HIV/AIDS?

Ever since she was diagnosed as being HIV-positive in the first episode, viewers have wondered if Blanca's story would end with her death. Throughout the two seasons, she has been struggling with the infection and matters have only gotten worse for her. In the season 2 finale, Blanca's condition became so dire that she was hospitalized and was wheelchair-bound for the rest of the episode.

Thankfully, the show tends to end its season finales on more hopeful moments. Season 2 ends with Blanca slaying a lip sync performance of Whitney Houston's rendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner" and taking two kids under her wing, offering viewers hope that Blanca can overcome her illness.

Are We In Store For A Wedding?

Many TV shows have focused an episode entirely around a wedding and Pose may very well be setting up a wedding for season 3. The season 2 finale saw lovers Papi and Angel propose to one another with both of them saying yes.

Papi and Angel have quickly become one of TV wedding event, while also giving the show a more light-hearted episode that is sure to be full of laughs and happy tears.

Will Pray Tell And Ricky Stay Together?

Toward the end of season 2, a romantic relationship formed between Pray Tell and Ricky. The two bonded after learning of each other's HIV-positive diagnosis, but Ricky's prior relationship with Damon and the age difference between Pray and Ricky prompted them to keep it a secret from the others.

Season 3 will likely explore their relationship in more depth, but the question remains on whether or not the two lovers can make their relationship work. Ricky has had indiscretions in past relationships, while Pray is still dealing with the death of his previous boyfriend. That could be a recipe for disaster, but there's hope the relationship can stay intact.

Will Blanca's New Family Continue To Grow?

After all of her children moved out of the house, Blanca began suffering from empty-nest syndrome. Angel, Papi, and Damon each left Blanca to pursue their own dreams, leaving Blanca all alone. However, in the season 2 finale, Blanca met two homeless kids, Quincy and Chilly, and offered to take them to dinner.

The show made it clear to the audience that Blanca isn't done being a mother and that her family will continue to evolve, setting up the possibility of new characters ing the cast in season 3.

In the finale, it was mentioned that Damon had started his own House in Paris, giving the show an opportunity to explore ballroom culture internationally.

While this development could lead to a successful life for the couple, the show loves to complicate the characters' lives and Angel and Papi's past drug abuse might lead to the couple's undoing. Regardless, Angel and Papi are two of the show's most likable characters and will undoubtedly overcome all obstacles to find their happy ending.

Blanca was another character that struggled to achieve her dreams in season 2. She opened up a nail salon only to have it sabotaged and burned down by Frederica Norman, a corrupt real estate mogul, who despised Blanca for being trans.

After Frederica was arrested and thrown in jail, Blanca started running her nail salon out of her house. With her health on the decline, Blanca's dream to run her own nail salon hangs in the balance, leaving fans to wonder if she'll ever officially reopen her salon.

In the penultimate episode of season 2, Blanca, Angel, Elektra, and Lulu went on a girls' trip to a Long Island beach house. While there, Blanca met a handsome man and spent a romantic evening with him, alluding to the possibility that a romantic relationship could be in Blanca's future.

It's unclear whether or not the man she went on a date with is still in the picture as the finale failed to mention him, but season 3 could introduce a new character to serve as Blanca's love interest. After losing her nail salon and her health declining, Blanca has been in much need of a win and finding love may very well remedy that.
